Recipe supplied by: Ruby Grave                            Age: 8 years

This quick and easy omelette recipe is one from Ruby’s soon to be released cookbook called Tastes Really Nice. Watch out for it ‘cos it’s sure to feature other egg-cellent meal ideas with my good eggs.
Cooking Time:
10 minutes
Serves: 1
  1. Crack two eggs into a jug (make sure there is no egg shell in the jug)
  2. Cut some bacon or ham – about ½ a cup.
  3. Grate some cheese and put it in the jug
  4. Pour a tiny bit of milk into the jug with the egg, cheese and bacon/ham.
  5. Stir the milk, egg, cheese and bacon/ham really well until it goes brownish.
  6. Put some butter in the frying pan, tip it round so the base of the frying pan is covered in butter.
  7. Pour jug with cheese, milk, eggs and bacon/ham into the frying pan.
  8. Cook really well and make sure it is cooked in all places.
  9. Use a spatula to flip it round and pop onto a plate to serve.
