Colony laid eggs

We’ve introduced a new and improved way to house our hens to enhance their wellbeing and keep them happier.

Colony laid allows them to have more room to enjoy important natural behaviours like scratching, perching and nesting.

The New Zealand Government has said that all cage eggs must be replaced by Colony, Barn and Free Range eggs by 2022, but we are cracking on and changing our housing now, to improve the wellbeing of our hens.
